Moodbidri, May 8: “Alva’s Education Foundation will be
organizing ‘Alva’s Pragati – 2012’, a mega ‘Udyog Mela’ at Vidhyagiri
campus on Saturday May 12 and Sunday May 13. Nearly 150 companies are
expected to participate in the event. About 8,000 students have already
enrolled online to attend Udyog Mela,” said Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman,
Alva’s Education Foundation.

MANGALORE: Alva's Pragati 2012, a placement initiative by Alva's
Education Foundation, Moodbidri, will be held on May 12 and 13 on
Vidyagiri campus, Moodbidri. In this connection, the foundation is
conducting a 4-day pre-placement training for benefit of students.

MANGALORE may 30 : City colleges are planning to introduce
uniforms on campus, to ensure that all students adhere to the dress
code, and they don't have run into controversies over the burqa.
Several pre-university and degree colleges in the city have already
introduced uniforms.
